Poker is usually played with a standard deck of fifty two playing cards. A deck of cards will be inclusive of four suits - spades, diamonds, clubs and hearts. each and every suit has 13 cards. Often times the game calls for extra or lesser cards -- the most common variation being the addition of wild cards such as jokers. on occasion the ace can be the lowest rank card rather than the highest rank card. In some games, it may be both the lowest and the higher rank card. The joker is counted in all combinations. Use of the joker is dependent on the kind of game being played. Any other playing card can also be made into the joker. The number of playing cards dealt depends on the casino game being played. In draw poker 5 cards are dealt, meanwhile in stud poker it can vary from 5 to seven. The other varieties of poker are Caribbean poker & Omaha Hi.

Normally 2 different packs of playing cards are used in the game. In the gambling dens, there are constant dealers. The dealer shuffles the cards and a player cuts the deck.
